Thread: Application for "The Meat Shield"

1. Name?

My Counter-strike name is The Meat Shield, but my real name is Thom.

2. Main game/ other games you play?

The main game I play is Counter-Strike Source. However, I also love to play Day of Defeat as far as steam games. I am planning on upgrading to CS:GO, but still playing a ton of CS:S.

As far as other games, I am a huge retro console gamer. I collect Retro Games so I love playing Megaman, the Legend of Zelda, and of course Mario Games.

3. Tell us a little about yourself?

I am currently working at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh as a Desk Services Coordinator. While working, I am earning my Master's Degree in Student Affairs from Indiana University in Pennsylvania.

I graduated from Ashland University with a Degree in Sports Communication. At Ashland, I was heavily involved in my fraternity (TKE) as well as the Orientation Team and the media stations.

My interests include Video Games, Fitness, and Music. I play guitar and attempt to sing. I also love doing stand-up comedy. Alot of my jokes are mean and inappropriate, but I save those for the stage.
4. What as a member can you bring to the pack?

I am already well known in the TPG community and an active poster on the forums. With this, I would be great for the social aspect as well as voting for new members and clan discussions. My skills are constantly improving and I conduct myself with class while in the server which would help me continue to spread the good alpha wolves name. I am also a definite team player (most of you can vouch) that always follows the call and will always try for the objective. I also never challenge the authority of an admin or a caller.

I also love organizing events, so I would love to help organize bi-weekly scrims or other social events with the permission of the Alpha Wolves community.

5. Why do you want to become a part of Alpha Wolves?

As a member of a fraternity in college, I learned the importance of being part of something larger than yourself. I have graduated and am looking for a group somewhat like that as I continue. I see a lot of the social aspects in Alpha Wolves that I have missed since graduation.

Besides that, I have already become close with some of the members and would love to be an active part of the community. It would be an honor to wear the tag.

On a side note, You me and rellik needa meet up and get a drink I smell an east coast TPG meetup, Potemkine is near me at rutgers if memory serves me correct.
