Proposed Idea!
Hey fellow TPGers!
I just want to take a poll how everyone would think about having the server, once a week or so, being in "Night" mode. Where we keep the server in dusk/night/dawn for the day. I was playing on a few other wasteland servers today while ours was down and night was absolutely thrilling.
Now I know how people in general feel about it, kick the gamma to 2.0 and play in pseudo day. I feel we can remedy alot of this discontent by just allowing everyone to spawn with Nightvision and by making it a Full Moon. A full moon provides soooo much ambient light.
Just my 2 cents.

Re: Proposed Idea!
The only problem is new connects... most of the new connects do not want to play in night time. I'm all for it, but I just don't want it to kill the population just because 5-10 people want to play in night time. I mean, what about the other 30-40+ people?

Re: Proposed Idea!
This seems like the sort of thing that a second server would be perfect for. Hardcore, nighttime, altered load-out, I've seen quite a few good suggestions here and on server but IMHO there just isn't enough room on a single server for it all. No idea of course how much work a second server would be for those involved. Especially while ARMA3 is still in beta and being patched so regularly... I'm guessing 'some' work.
Can I suggest that those interested put up a forum poll? Also maybe ask if people would be willing connect at non-standard (off-peak) times to play nighttime?
Wait... does the server have off-peak times?

Re: Proposed Idea!
I agree completely Hub, hence why I was thinking once a week or so. Hell nothing stops us from giving it a trial run for a day and seeing how it goes ya know. If the mass of the new connects dont like the change in pace we can adjust back. Even if it was just once every two weeks. "TPG NIGHTS DAY!" or something of the sort.
