Thread: Patrol Ops

Found a decent server hosting Patrol Ops. Basically, its mission after mission co-op. It utilizes all of Altis and spreads AI enemy everywhere. It takes some decent tactics to pull off most of the missions that i have see so far. The guys at 3rdInf.com play it that way as well. There is "licensing" so some dweeb that wants to practice flying cant jump in and kill all your choppers, and the same goes for heavy armor. The up side to that is, when someone licensed joins, you know you have a solid guy piloting or driving/gunning a tank.

I think it would be a good time if a bunch of us TPG Arma fans hit it up as a group and mixed it up with the 3rd Inf. I played with them for a few hours last night and had a great time. Felt like i had been gaming with them for while. Good tactics, great communication, you know, all the stuff we love. But not so hard core as you fill like you just enlisted.

I might join up again tonight, and will most likely be on there TS as well.

I'm up for it. Patrol Ops is a pretty fun mission, the major issue being finding servers that are serious enough to kick trolls and teamkillers, but not so serious that they ban people for not being 'tactical' and 'realistic' enough.

Exactly, and thats how the guys at 3rdinf came across. They valued teamwork, but weren't so hard core that they would ban you for breaking formation.
