Thread: Decreasing Death Penalty

It is currently set to charge a player 100 Krypto (what a stupid word) when they die and respawn. This accumulates as a debt that must be paid when they access the banking system.

I was under the impression it was at -300 Krypto, unless we already changed it once. -100 is a good number. I think it's nice having some cost to death other than loss of gear and humiliation.

Always been 100 but it increases every time you die so if you die 3 times and then you access the bank it will be -300

I believe it should be less. Newbies are hit the hardest. By time they get around to learning the currency system/ATM, it'll be in the negative. It does drive trades/etc, but we've got a lot of trader fragging too.

If you don't have a backpack, which is normal for fresh spawn, you can't sell primary weapons. If this is not true, please slap me and tell me how to sell guns that aren't in backpacks.

It should be set to 0. you already pay a high enough price for death with the total loss of all guns and equipment. The odds you get it back are slim at best and no chance being the most common result. to further punish is asinine. The game is tough enough.

It should be a little less, a good middle.

shit i haven't figured out how to do anything wiht the traders yet. then again it probably doesn't help i keep dying going up and down stairs and ladders. I would say 0 atleast for now until the server is established and people understand the game better.
