On the Hording of cars, trucks and Choppers....
This might rub some folks the wrong way, and thats ok. Im not bringing this up to chastise anyone, just to express an opinion.
Regardless of how easy cars and choppers are to come by, we really should keep our vehicle hording to a minimum and temporary at best. Part of the draw of this game, and our server, is to be able to find transport in a reasonable amount of time. Not like the days of Dayz mod where unless a hacker spawned one in for you, the odds of you getting a vehicle were slim unless you were part of the biggest baddest group on the server.
Its understood that groups will need transport, and storage when getting a base started, but when one group has a what amounts to Crazy Eddies used car and chopper emporium, it kinda kills the fun for the new guys joining.
Loot all you want, stock your shelves with an infinite number of guns and supplies, but i think it would be best for everyone to fight the urge to collect every single vehicle they come across.
In the end, the hords will be found and destroyed/stolen im sure, thats part of the game, but in the early stage we are in, i believe it is best to leave those spawns where they are if you really don't need them. It will allow new connections to feel better about the server and perhaps use those vehicles themselves to build up a home and create more action for all of us.
PS: My group of 7 currently has 5 vehicles (unless we got jacked today) but as soon as we get up some more shelves, at least 2 of them will be put back into play.Last edited by SpecOpsScott; 02-02-15 at 09:39 AM.

Re: On the Hording of cars, trucks and Choppers....
I like the occasional joy ride in vehicle but unless I have a 10K run to where I want to go I would rather hoof it. If I find a broken down vehicle in the woods, I blow it up. If I come across a base with a lot of vehicles, I blow it up. If I catch Dex, Machine, and Target looting in an open field without paying attention to the guy with a lync 300 meters aways, I first kill them then blow up their transportation.

We had special deliveries of vehicles to our base for 8+ hours the other night. Does that count as hoarding (check your spell check)? It's not like we run a valet service . . .

Re: On the Hording of cars, trucks and Choppers....
Of course you did. Relocating from the lot to the roof from an unsafe altitude is one way of spreading the wealth. However, importing vehicles from other lots to drop on the roof.... well that's just an outrage!
PS: Yeah, my spell check seems to believe hording is a word, thus i didn't "correct" it.Last edited by SpecOpsScott; 02-02-15 at 06:06 PM.
