I think it would look best centered. I believe you can remove the SMF logo by searching the index.template.php file for 'smflogo.gif' and removing it.

we will be having a contest again, soon enough. and likely, we will get back in the habit of centering the banner, meaning it can be as wide as 800 or even 1000px. Good job making it transition though.

Post up your work here in the artwork forum....and get ready. This summers banner contest is going to be fun (prizes like 8800GT's and CPUs and cash).

I like chosens because it has a more serious feel to it. His banner needs to show a little more of the other games in my opinion tho.

This may have already been said...but i dont want to go through 8 pages of shit

I like jello's for the fact that it incorporates ALL the games TTP is a part of, and has all the flags and the globe on it. True, this is Texas Teamplayers, but its a world server, people from all over play here.

I would keep jello's but use Chosen's slogan of "Resetting the standards in Online Gaming" that is better than "No one stands alone"

Because using the "Resetting" slogan goes well with all the characters from BF CS and TF2

with that said though, I do prefer the game icons and shadowed people in the back of hoodis sample banner to the toonish soliders from all the games we host in the jello one (though Hoodi's look like office people vs soldiers :P)

P.S. I am not trying to diss anyone's banner. Forgive me if I've come across that way. You guys have more artistic talent than I and it's great we have everyone stepping up

Otherwise, every new game means a new banner or that game feels left out. Or if we decide to stop hosting a game, new banner.

Point is, I would rather a simple banner, that was about who we are...not the games that we play.

The direction that Chosen's is headed is right on the money. The banner should be a statement of, like Frau said, our spirit, rather than an advertisement. The diversity of what we encompass (specifically) is realized immediately (to anyone who wants to know) from the side bar of the website, under TTP Games.

In my humble opinion, to display any game on our banner is not only redundant, but misses the point: to resound the principles for which we are here.

I had this at 1000 x 95, but the forum is modifying it. It looks better when it is at actual size.
