TTP Steam Skin... Soon...
Well I was wondering if anyone has experience with making steam skins. I would very much like to try and make a TTP skin. I found the "ILoveSteam" program that lets you build the skin. Anyone ever used this program? I am on a mac here at work, and have pulled out the stock steam skins, but they are mostly res files. Does the ILoveSteam prog compile the .res files? I have done some res. file creation for object textures. I would like to use the winning contest banner as a theme for the skin, but need the winners "ok". Anyone out therE?

The res is kind of like CSS for web pages.
Tells the Skin positions and dimensions of the included graphics, where to appear in the finished rendered product.
Easiest way to customise your own, is to download one that's already made, who's layout you like, then alter, edit, replace the graphics to your own, then edit the res with notepad to reflect your changes.
It's kind of like building a small web page with your included graphics.

Yeah, like you said, I need to edit the res files to reflect my web colors. I am going to go with a skin I like allready and try to edit it. IloveSteam doesnt work, or I cant get it to work. It just outputs 3 files. I am still working with it. I am going to model it after the site. Blues on blues on greyish blues. I will post an update when I can.
