Overall mine is greyish. CMYK when put on the web tends to look a little grey. Plus this is a direct export from illustrator. Since its vector I can scale it upward later =).

I am offering this as general wisdom.... from printing a lot of stuff that looked like shit.
- MARGINS!!!!!!!!*##^&(#!^&()!&^# I can not stress this enough. Keep your shit AWAY from the edges.
- Be wary of too many drop shadows, bevels and overall "modeling". A little goes a long way, so if you are totally shadowed, beveled and glowing. It may not translate well into print.

I am wondering what LPI (Lines per Inch) this is going to be printed at?

In this i have removed all graident/inner shadows/drop shadows. I agree with what you're saying when it comes to large print.

The background will print fine. Just make sure you adjust the levels of the background black with all the other black. You wouldn't want two shades of black now.
