Thread: QUAKECON BANNER CONTEST! $200 PRIZE!

I think all the submissions in here are a hundred times better than anything I could put together but if I had to pick one it would be jakts.

The cowskull quake symbol is badass idea and I like how its just a simple sleek design with no other distracting elements thrown on to it.

I think it would look better if the cow skull had more definition in it.

Still got 2 days left 8)

So I want to hear what the people think. I'm usually one to go with my gut on this stuff but I really cant decide which one of the following 2 to go with.....One kinda has a lot going on in the bg and the other is much cleaner looking. IDK, what do you guys think? :8

Im pretty stuck on this one:

I have abad feeling that the bg in the red on is gonna come off as "too much going on" to some of the voters. So I'm going for the more clean apporach now. Also, made the text more appealing.

I created in vector. I have it as .pdf for print right now. The file is only 1.4mb at full size and.... well there are no dots since it is vector. I can easily flatten it and make it a .tif but the file size scares me. Any half way decent printer will thank anyone who makes them a vector .pdf for this bad boy.
If you are doing CMYK black make sure you do a "rich" black. Meaning your ratio should be something like (25/25/25/100) for CMYK black. :9
