Using vector graphics is the simplest way to get your logo to work for every article of marketing. That way you don't have to re-render every resolution needed.

have the black stroke around the logo be a nice gun-metal foil. Maybe even ditch the backer and emboss the logo. IDK... I love foil and emboss... maybe because I do it everyday.
