RDS or HOLO? Which do you prefer and why?

I tend to prefer the RDS over the HOLO sight in most instances. What benefits are there with the Holo sight?

It's just a matter of preference. One can argue that the RDS offers a less obstructive view than both holo sights, but the difference is superficial to me. I personally prefer the russian holo over any other 1x sight, but I also tend to stick with iron sights nowadays (unless the gun I'm, using has a sight as horible as the pecheneg)

Ugh, there's a few guns with garbage sights... the FAMAS has a god damned ring-sight... totally obstructs your view when you use it.

I was a thermal guy to the nines till the last patch that rendered it less than useless... After that I reverted to the RDS. Recently while playing with Warprosper I mentioned that I play with the RDS - he said yeah decent for a very short range but recommended I use the 3.4x or 4x scopes. I listened (A91 was his pushing and now its my favourite engy gun) and pushed through the awkwardness and found it is a better sight for 90% of the maps. Try using it for a whole night and you'll see your accuracy got through the roof.

Reflex or PKA 3.4x for me depending on the situation.

I only use the Holo. I used to use the 4x for all my assault rifles, but I personally don't find it as accurate. The 4x is perfect for the range of Hilltop to Forest at Caspian Border, but I don't like it for anything closer than that when I need to spray down enemies. I can still use burst fire to kill enemies with the Holo sight from long distance though.
