I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that this an exploit that will be addressed in a future patch. Due to the less than thorough quality testing done on this game, this was allowed to slip through.

    What's thermal camo good for?
    I haven't unlocked it yet.

It makes it harder for the enemy to get a lock on your tank.

It's one of those glitches that is going to happen whether you mean for it to or not. It's bad coding on DICEs fault and there is really no way to avoid this one. Do we tell players they can't use tank perks because they will stack? Hopefully as trigger has said, DICE will address it in one of their next patches.

This reminds me a bit of the shield overload in BF2142 and I'm not trying to stir the pot here but I do have a general question:

Other than proximity remaining after someone leaves a tank, is this really a glitch that you can stack tank perks? Is the driver the only one that should be allowed to have perks carry into the tank? I'm not sure if they (designers) meant for that or not. If you look at the attack helicopter, the gunner has specific perks. Why wouldn't the gunner in the tank be allowed to have one of their tank upgrades carry into it?

Glitch: something unintended by game developers and allows the game to be exploited in some fashion

I'm not sure if it's unintended or not.

Now for the reactive armor repairs, they specifically say in one of the in game load messages that it can not be. I'm leaning towards glitch for repairing reactive armor.

The parts that could be construed as a glitch are the proximity remaining after the user leaves the tank and, from what it sounds like, the reactive armor being "repairable." Seems to me like the tank perks stacking when different users in the tank have them is how its supposed to be, so long as both users are still in the tank.
