Re: What are your in game video settings?
The rational is less equals more. Snipers usually do this in games like bf2 and 2142. It gets rid of a lot the things that make the battlefield look more "real." It also helps distinguish terrain and enemies from each other. So overall it makes so you can see the enemy better giving you the contrast you may not normally get with higher quality graphics. So if your willing give up sex appeal for kills its worth doing.

I tried all low setting and game still looks great. I did notice some white haze in some spots. Looked like mist or light smoke. but I didn't see it on ultra in the spots I saw it on low. what do you think that setting would be?
Game runs 165-195 fps on low

Re: What are your in game video settings?
I'm not sure how much BF3 is affected by it but in some games, higher FPS whether you can see them or not can help.
I remember that RTCW and Enemy Territory had a few magic FPS settings that would allow you to jump a bit further... Don't remember why though. I think with was like 83 or 87 FPS...
Yeah, I know the video settings I have are non-optimal for picking people out but I like a pretty game. I'll dumb them down tonight and see if it annoys me or not.

Uggg. Feel's like I "DID NOTHING" with the bright colors but I can much more easily see peeps.
Also easier to spot on the mini-map. More distinct.Last edited by Warprosper; 01-03-12 at 08:50 PM. Reason: No Drug References please!
