This combined with an upcoming TeamSpeak plugin will give you an SL-to-SL comms channel.

Not sure what that means. I know TG has a working mod, but it requires an additional client side install from what I have been told. If this were to require something similar it might be yet another issue.

I hope this works as easily as it sounds.

I have a question though, is there some kind of plugin that makes it so you can PTT to Squad, PTT to Team and PTT to All, just like you can with the chat window?

My understanding is correct to use it. Nothing required if you chose not to use it (or not be a SL) nor to hear someone else who IS using it.

My biggest concerns about tssync at this point is that they have yet to release source code. They keep saying they will, but never do. As a security professional, I wouldn't want to think about using something like this that has both a TS admin and BF3 rcon pw in it without seeing what it's doing at a source level. Imis has a few tricks up his sleeve we will hopefully implement with our own TS solution at some point in the future.

My main concern is that they have yet to provide source code when they indicated they would initially. This screams of them hiding something. Second of all this requires yet another hoop for joe blow user to jump through by having to install an additional client-side plug-in. There are ways this can be done without the plugin. Just need to get enough of Imis' time to implement it. I'd rather run a solution we have 100% control over vs something we're relying on someone else to support.

according to the site that I saw that runs it it's open source.
