An EPIC round of BF3!

A couple nights ago we played a sparsely populated round of Kharg Island.... It was the most epic comeback round of BF3 i have played to date. The Opposing team had nearly a 100 point lead at one point and approx a 30 point lead when the losing music started playing.... we turned it around and pulled out a victory with 2 tickets! We were all in shock... hell i still had that faint losing music intro playing in the background as the screen lit up with Your Team Won! (The last time i recall looking at the tickets it was about 31-3 maybe 5, but the team never stopped trying and we were all in the process of capping all but one flag)

I just had to post this up as rounds like that are what i play for. TS sounded like the stadium of a home team that just made a winning touchdown after being down the whole last quarter.... knowhatimean?

I've not had too many (any yet?) of those in BF3. They all seem very one way or the other. But those were my favorite rounds in 2142 when it came down to the very. last. ticket.

Neither team ever had a strong lead, it was close pretty much most of the way. Of what I can remember from that round was that I was reviving and healing like crazy while trying to hold Charlie (airfield) ... I know that tank was going out of its mind trying to figure out how he could never kill our squad off when we sat on the flag! I spent most of my time there ... at first with squad capping and holding and then I was left to hold on my own. Great fun! Chray was a great SL. This may have been my first Ace Squad Ribbon also ... ended up with a couple that day. I learned to enjoy the Famas for the first time as well. I did finally get to reunite with the squad to advance on Alpha and Bravo, but that was near the end of the game in an effort to ensure we came out on top.

Or when both titans blow up but you killed it slightly earlier. Best times ever.

Lol... thanks, I guess. I fail to see how I can make a good SL, I try to avoid to be one in most cases (Unless there's no squad available when I join) for reasons that should be very obvious, but hey, we had some great rounds last night. I appreciate the fact that you and hardnock followed my orders, even tho the current SL tools in BF3 only allows me to give attack/defend orders (DICE really needs to bring back the interractive map). I always appreciate to have some great BF2 teamplayers in my squad.

I was going to mention the Titan thing. When you blow up their console right as a rocket from a silo finishes off your Titan... those are the most intense rounds. Nothing in BF2 or BF3 compares to that.

Honnestly, I have the same feeling just by realizing we managed to stop the ticket bleed on us while we had less than 5, and contemplate the enemy ticket count slowly dropping from 30... then 20... and 10....

But I have to admit my opinion might be biaised, since I pretty much hated 2142's titan mode for the same reason I hate metro or damavan peak.

(2142's still a great game.... just not that portion of the game IN MY OPINION)

I was on that winning team and just couldn't believe we pulled that off. I know I looked at the score and I think it was like 100 to 20.
