Thread: Role of the Squad Leader (BF3)

Let's extend that thought and say
Every squad needs a medic within reach of the squad leader. I don't roll with the medic squad leader if there are tanks nearby. I customize for each situation. I never use recon for sl because it's so limiting I personally find. With spawn on anyone the role of squad leader is an easier one, no longer is it needed to be concerned as much with his welfare... That being said spawning on teammates and having them cap your ass as you spawn in isn't always best either.....

Re: Role of the Squad Leader (BF3)
I find squad leads pretty much worthless... with out a good leader your just going to have guys run around doing there own thing.. and good squad leaders are hard to come by... I hate the squad lead position.. because.. well when I'm a leader I expect guys on TS but rarely does anyone who's in mysquad join ts.. I also get more points healing squad spawn points and resupplying than being a squad leader...
the game is pretty much becoming bland to me.. and yes I said it.. I'm starting to hate bf3... too much stuff that I miss from bf2 is making me want to just not play the game anymore..
And no I won't beg and cry to dice to change it back.. not that too immature.. I'll just play it as is.. until I get bored againLast edited by Mobi; 03-27-12 at 08:52 AM.

Re: Role of the Squad Leader (BF3)
the game just gets pretty bland for me because I keep getting my ass kicked around.. Not fun when you get dominated every 5 seconds after you respawn
Someone on CS:S said it perfectly why keep playing when your down 4 : 20 dying all the time seems more a waste of time..

Re: Role of the Squad Leader (BF3)
I really cant argue with that, i know the feeling first hand. Hell my BC2 KD was .58 in the beginning. I'm sure you can find a rant post or two from me about how it sucked balls and i was about to uninstall the game. But i stuck with it and became a pretty proficient player by the time we shut it down. Same goes for BF3 although i started that game a little better off thanks to the preparation i got from BC2. Stick with it man, and change up your game style a bit and it becomes way more fun.
