Limited squads? Is this how vanilla is suppose to be?

Why the fuck cant I make my own squad? Instead I have a some faggot sniper sniping from our spawn at the beginning of the round.

... but you can create a new squad...

You can make a squad. Leave your gimp squad then in the lower right you will see a create squad button.

I would like to hijack this thread to ask my own stupid questions;

Can I shut up/disable the NPC vulgarians?

Can I remove/disable the flag pop up icon that obscures my view when i get within 30 m of the flag?

Is the claymore ever useful?

Thanks, but I only have four options under audio; master volume, your speaker system, enhanced stereo mode, and voice over language (which could work, if it gave any options to change. Which it doesn't.)

Also, is there a way to keep the damn mini map from rotating with me? I would prefer it stay in the same orientation.
