The way i deal with it is to remind myself occasionally that i play this really cool modern combat first person shooter that accidentally got labeled BF3.

Are there other options for PC users?
I am asking because I am truly ignorant of outside FPS's not hosted by TPG. I'm pretty familiar with games that TPG does host.

When can we expect a new kind of BF type FPS to come out that TPG will host? How are hosted games decided on? Anyone want to play BF2 tonight? Does TPG have a console presence? Is that even possible?

Oh, and someone tell me this, Origin was released/forced on EA's customers Oct? of 2011? 5 months ago?

My Origin UI still says "Origin Beta" at the top.

I mean, I'm not a designer or an engineer or software guy, but isn't 5 months a long time to call your actual product that is in use and handling games, servers and monetary transactions?

Yeah ... I thought that was really bizarre myself. I am guessing they are wanting you to get used to this type of service.
