I'm with War on this, I am ever so confused at the super negative reception for everything Dice has done since BF3, yet the same negative commentators have way more play time than most of us? I understand negative remarks on games, I hate TF2 and think its the most boring game ever created after CSS. So I don't play them? It seems to be a BF3 phenomena too, its like the Howard Stern show of Video games. The people who like it listen 1.5 hrs the people who hate it 2.5hrs. Why? To hear what he'll say next...

I was one of the first promoters of BF3 here at TPG. I saw another BF2. Ah the memories. I also have patience. I held out as long as I could. With the recent news of Premium getting VIP/reserve slot access before the Server Owners and providers (read: TPG) got it AS PROMISED. This was the final straw. I won't be giving any more money to EA or DICE, ever. again. There are far better games by more attuned companies. Hopefully when EA goes to buy those they will say no. I haven't played BF3 in weeks. Ha!

I am one of the lead designers/developers on the TPG WE HATE BF3 mod. I have about 70 hours in game. I threw in the towel when I learned that 1) PC was indeed NOT the lead platform, 2) VoIP is NOT coming for PC, EVER, and 3) server providers like TPG are not second, third, or even fourth class citizens in the eyes of EA/DICE.

Couple the priming time you have in with all the negativity you show in the public eye you actually think you're doing this community a favor?

Who are you trying to convince here?

You know I get it a lot people don't like what BF3 has devolved into. So they won't support anything that they feel encourages EA/DICE. I also get that people will come to forums to voice that opinion. What I don't get is how anyone here can attack fellow community members for wanting to extend the life of a game they enjoy. I don't come to your house while your watching your favorite movie, and shit on your sofa, and call you a dumb noob for watching Robocop III. Here's a cold hard fact people will buy what they feel gives them value, and no one will change their minds about it 99% of time. I've already said this, but I'll say it again. Close Quarters is an expansion pack that I know I'll enjoy so I'm willing to fork over 15 bucks for it. Some people feel they will enjoy all packs so they want save a little money. It's all their business, and your hate for EA/DICE is your own business. Lets not mix business with pleasure noobs. :P
