Stat padding problem`

With our server on Rush for its open, a single player can join the assulting team, place charges on the MCOMs and win the round without any other play being on the server. This results in an easy 7000+ point score plus several ribbons bonus points.

I simply feel the need to point this out to the admins. I am unaware if the problem has been brought up before.

I though they programmed out the C4 destroying the MCOMs?

Oh they did, but Arming Mcoms runs a Placing c4 animation. LOL!

as far as I could tell unless the server is populated to 8+ players the no points are given.. that problem was solved in an update I think in april...

No it isn't it is still there,one player game start. So yeah easy earned 7000 pts +8 M-com attacker ribbons.

I thought you wouldn't gain any point... if you were in a server by yourself..

Hmmm... In BC2 they had it so that unless the game had started, you didn't get any points for MCOM destroys or anything else. Game started at 8 players, so that was never an issue.

Like many things in this game, they need to fix this. Stats padding has always been a bannable offense in the BF series, and EA used to reset your stats if you were caught doing it. But we've never really had much trouble with it before on TPG servers. I don't like the fact that it's so easy now to do this. Means that our admins are going to work just that much harder.

Sorry I haven't posted, my power went out. Yea there is no way the problem was finished. I discovered it and unlocked an upgrade from one of my kits.

what does it matter anyway? We want the server primed ... let them rack up their "mighty" points and be super duper premium dude ... whatever. If they are priming the server then so much the better ... if they rack up some points doing it so what?
