Game issue after update.

Obviously i do not par take in bf3 very often due to my dislike of it. However today i decided to give it another chance. Before i could log in it had to update origin and game manager. When i got in i could not sprint or fire my weapons. Anyone know of any reason for this?

I did try reassigning, logging out and back in, resetting to factory, moving the control from key board to mouse then to joystick. All of which had no effect. Hard enough when you dont like the game but add problems to it every time makes you want to put your fist thru the monitor.

I want you to play this game; all the old school BF2 players need to get in on it!

Easiest way to change key bindings is to log into the campaign (no worry about idle time outs)... Try clearing the fields for those items in particular and then reassigning?

Or open the config file? Control config file - Forums - Battlelog / Battlefield 3

... Location of the config file is in:
\Documents\Battlefield 3\settings

The file is PROF_SAVE_profile ...

Nevermind, that file is a pain in the ass to interpret.

Yeah i tried the clearing before reassigning. I prefer to stay away from the config file my computer skills are no longer what they use to be. As far as i know right now sprint and fire are the messed up ones. It is quite possible there are more but i noticed my character was not running and when i tried to fire i got nothing. Before i tried changing the keys i noticed my guy would fire a single shot when i would go from prone or crouch to standing.

What i havent tried come to think of it is a reboot. My systems been on for about a week. Gonna give that a shot.
