Can we go ahead and start a thread "BF4 sucks and BF2 rules." We may as well start early, we did it with BC2 and BF3. Just my 0.3 cents. Also, BF4 must be a system resource pig.

So I am going to say something very unpopular,

I am getting this game, and I don't think the Battlefield Franchise is becoming call of duty. In the past a game came out and was pretty much stagnant for its entire life cycle. Now, however with DLC it seems that a game is getting new content every few months. Not only that but it will probably be 2 years between BF4 and BF3, along with the fact that the last DLC for BF3 will be out for 6 months before BF4 at least.

Now I don't hate BF3, in fact I love it. The problems with the game are far outweighed by my enjoyment of the game. Would it be better with VOIP in game maybe, maybe not. Would it be better with a commander, only on TPG and no place else. So yeah, I am pre-ordering BF4 and when the premium for that comes out I will buy that too.

Premium was a good deal if you planed to buy all the content for BF3 anyway, especially if you have the vanilla version.

PS It seems ea is alternating between putting out a MoH game and a BF game sort of like alternating between Treyarch and Infinity Ward. I was never interested in MoH so I can safely ignore it.

It better be Battlefield 2143 or I'm not buying it at launch.. BF4 release is way too soon to be great..

I just hate that when a new COD comes out all previous ones become obsolete. BF2 was kicking for years even with 2142 bfbc and bfbc2 out. It was very popular til bf3 launched. I hope bf3 doesn't die so quickly as soon as bf4 drops.

I agree. I will be getting it as well. I know it will be a good game; Will it have what we expect from a true battlefield game? Maybe, maybe not. But I'll be getting it nonetheless. I doubt I'll praise it the same as bf2 and 2142, but it'll be good
