Re: 40-2 Jet Gameplay
I have never used "heavy break" or anything else 3rd party. I just let go of "W" and hold "S". If you do that and you are low enough the landing gear comes down and you do slow down quick to very low speed. Doing that also makes you very vulnarable.
Yes, Partyball. I'm safe from your C4 in the air :-)

Re: 40-2 Jet Gameplay
Thank you! Mouse and KB. Could not get the joystick to work. There was too much dead space and some lag with it.

Re: 40-2 Jet Gameplay
Um, yea get on HC or it's nothing. Seeing how TPG has a number of jet maps, why don't you try getting out of the tank and into the jet. We'll see just how hot you are.
Give me a poke in TS or chat. I will give you a real pilot to go up against. Ground AA, Heat Seaker packing Choppers, and jets gunning for you.Dispatch the DooM

Re: 40-2 Jet Gameplay
-Approach from high up and far out
-Know the upper limits of the map
-AA rockets are for noobs, and they don't do very well at that, learn to pepper
-Pepper is bursts, the suckiest things is turning with an enemy and having a good lock but no rounds ready
-All jets turn their best at an air speed of 280. Anything more, and you have a bigger turn radius. Anything less and your going to slow and won't turn fast enough or even fall out of the sky/stall out
-If your on a joystick, hotkey the free look directions, with a solid view distance you will likely spot jets long before your radar and can move to attack while they are looking at ground targets
-If your hitting a ground target, scan the air for threats first, your approach is one of the most dangerous times, check your
aft radar
-A straight flying target is a dead one, TURN, ROLL, DODGE, DUCK, DIP, DIVE, and DODGE
-With someone on your tail rolling and turning towards the ground will help you to change vextors faster
-While traveling around the outer edge of the map, look for heavy tracer fire, this is where you will find vehicals
-Mobile AA is almost always in the same spot ever after each attack run, and the same dam spots on the map round after
round
-With guide rockets, use the cam to spot enemy troops on the ground
-After a guided rocket has fired, switch back and pepper that target, tanks take to many shots to disable
-If a jet is coming at you from behind, and there is considerable distance between you yet they are able to get a weapons lock, and you have Chaff, release it, slow down the 280 and do a flip. Doing so will break the locks, dodge the missles, and give the other jet time to get in to close, so you can attack or escape out of their view.
-Choppers have way to much health, and can bite back, attack from the top down then go straigh up from their position, if you don't you will be getting a heat locking surprise
-F 35s are terrible against Su 34s because of the challenge to maintain the 280 turn speed. Approach from a distance with plenty of time to get in good shots before they know you are in the air
-Tap S once you are at the 280 speed to maintain it, but balance it with your afterburner
-Rocket pods have a better chance of hitting a target because they aren't effected by smoke, however you need to get every rocket on target to do any damage worth noting. Vehicals don't go very far, if you know where one is, go way out, then approach with enough time to get a lock, trip the smoke, then slow down. Many people drive backwards and leave the cover of their smoke.
-These maps had help from JJ Abrams, use the sun to blind an enemy pilot on your tail giving you time to escape
