All of the above is fine, but for the love of all that is Battlefield, put it back to the normal hardcore health settings. The point of hardcore is that you are supposed to play tactically, checking corner, covering each other, and moving as a team. Giving snipers the ability to one hit kill is fine. You see a team mate go down, you get cover. The sniper rifles are balanced for doing one hit kills. They have extremely slow fire rates, balanced by high firepower. THAT IS THEIR PURPOSE. It takes skill to use a sniper rifle well. The semi-auto ones do less damage, the ones with high damage take a while to reload. It gives and advantage to all the guns. People go down more quickly, headshots actually kill, it rewards skilled players. If you absolutely need Vanilla to draw in more people, make a seperate vanilla server. Just please, put the health back to normal hardcore on the rest.

Re: Lets Talk Server Settings Again
We need to go back to either full Hardcore or full Vanilla. I don't see any non-regs while playing on either server. Even when we get nearly 32 players, its all regs and the server dies shortly after. Players aren't finding our server.

I didn't see any stragety when we were hardcore. Run and Gun is all you get. Everytime all the time. When you can't kill someone easily on normal health, you talk to you squad to let them know where they are. You work together. I saw that the first time we put on the regular health and I see it to this day.

I vote Hardcore. It requires more team play IMO to stay alive, and win a round. You have to be better spread out as far as your kits, you have to slow the fuck down and take time otherwise you will wind up dead quick. It was a much better experience as far as I am concerned for the fun factor due to being way more realistic. PLUS, it used to be full when it was H/C. Just saying.

Re: Lets Talk Server Settings Again
No, it used to be dead empty no more than 2 weeks ago... If it was full we would have never made any drastic changes. I swear it will never end you people cry when you die to fast and now cry because you can't kill anyone. Ever think maybe it doesn't matter what game type it is, and maybe it has to do with your FPS fundamentals? There was zero tactics in HC who the hell are you kidding people in the squad die so fast that you could barely put together a plan much less execute it because one guy with a submachine gun could sit in corner and mow everyone down. I give up, and don't give a damn what we play.

Re: Lets Talk Server Settings Again
I don't mind this mode with TeamPlayers, HC is fantastic because its so easy to kill and I have become accustomed to that play style. Today the game was not very forgiving for me, I went something like 2/18 while everyone on the other side had a ball or side simply shut down, point blank shots were not registering and we got pummeled by 1 shot kills. Worst round of bf3 ever for me as when people get rolled communication shuts down and the round degrades to a bunch of people who just don't care and Bunch that sing "these are the best days of or lives... ". The server emptied after that round and people went to play other games. Honestly in those moments I miss hardcore allot. Tired of not killing people how I like but I like the strategy in normal. Custom would rock but honestly Hc saw more action. I know Tenrou thinks we all need to learn how to play, and maybe we do, hc is simply more forgiving and entertaining.
