Engineer Gold Badge help needed

I'm trying to get my Engineer Gold Badge and I would appreciate any tips from anyone that has been fortunate to achieve this. I have abouts 55 hours on this kit and just can't seem to get the 30 kills. I get close but then the round ends. Nearly pulled my hair out today playing with AK and Mustafah and get 29 kills with the SMG and then of course the round ends before I can find another enemy to kill. Suggestions

Use the Pilum as your main weapon and SMG as second. I can normally rack up at least 30 or 40 kill being a engineer each round. Just go around and blow shit up.

Thanks Blackhawk. I've tried with the Pilum but I guess I don't have the finesse that you do. I average about 20-25 kills but I can't get past 29. I can one shot a tank no problem but an APC takes a few shots for me to blow up and I usually end up dead by that time. Or the Titan gets destroyed. Game over. You have great skill as an Engineer. One day I will be a Pilum God like you. lol.

If your really desperate you use the Anti Air gun and just came the enemy titan shooting its transports and gunships down.

Shoot the back of the tank with a pilum 30 times.

I only need 15 more hours with my Engineer kit.

Just think of the Pilum as a big ash shotgun for Tanks AK.

Jeff, I've got the same problem. I can get 18-25 kills each time with an engineer kit. 3 times hit 29. Personally, I blame the democrats for not sending a FULL APC or troop transport my way.

I agree. Alot of time is wasted killing an APC that is holding only 2 guys. I usually play Assault or Support and have exceptionally good streaks in that time. The main problem I think is time runs out when you hit 29 kills. I think playing with less people when the server only has 2 teams of 10-12 would extend the time needed to get that 30th kill.
