I stick around. Even being on the losing team can create opportunities and it's pretty gratifying if you squad up and your crew consistently has the best score, even on a losing team.

I'll hang with it for a game, but if it's obvious nothing's going to change, when the game ends, I switch servers.

I'll take over commander and try and turn things around, but if it's hopeless, I'll jump ship after a few games.

Hell no! Winners never quit, and losers never die! At least, not for more than twenty seconds at a time.

K/D ratios and W/L ratios
Just thought I'd post the question.
In the beginning, I usually stuck it out, but as I get higher in rank I'm beginning to actually pay attention to my K/D and W/L ratios, which have to be above certain cuts to get certain awards. Who else pays attention to this?Defend Truth with Violence

Getting owned is great, it wouldn't be satisfying if it was easy.
I'll admit I get pissed off real easy, on any given game, 90% of the time at my team, but that's what makes teamplay special, whether I'm getting ass pounded or not, there's always going to be the one guy listening, and absorbing and realising the only chance of winning is listening, or reacting to the person using his microphone, and working out some sort of plan.
In all honesty, I might leave AFTER the round/game, if, by chance, my team is retarted beyond any hope at all, but that didn't happen TOO often.
Sigh, I really need my new HD, I need some 2142 ass whuppins.

I play cs:s and most of the people that play the CS server know that I am fair and help the losing team, or get stuck on the losing side but stick it out.
I find honor in my actions, I dont like to be looked upon as a stat padding, obsessive k:d slut that is apoor sport and leaves/disconnects from the game because he cannot get kills or otherwise is being beaten by a stronger opposition. When I played bf2, I wasn't no littlequitter bitch either.
Anyone who is a chump like that shows

Personally I don't think this is really a question to be asked as it's not the TTP way. TTP is about teamwork, not stat whoring. If you leave any time you are loosing for the sake of stats, then it's just wrong and if you are doing on TTP servers, then you don't belong here.
Sure you might need some of those stats for some awards, but who cares, I play the game because it's fun and I love the teamwork needed to win on these large scale servers. The awards and unlocks are just the gravy to go with the game.
Losing sucks, yeah, but pulling off one of those come from behind wins is just awesome and make the losses not so bad.

B) As for finding servers full of "suck ass people," consider the question I posed in the first place. If you're on a team getting crushed, you're ON a server full of suck ass people. You just don't happen to be on the right side.
C) I resent the implication that my paying attention to what amounts to a score in this game makes me a chump or in any bestows dishonor upon me. That my friend, is what I typically refer to as, "BULLSHIT." I'm a competitor, damnit. I pay attention to the fucking score. If you don't that's on you and you've got that right, but don't you dare impugn my honor for thinking differently. I've done my duty before God and country in the real world and you can call me alot of things but I'll be damned if I take that particular accusation from anyone, anywhere.
A might touchy? Yeah, on this particular point I am. Disagree with me all day, but calling me dishonorable is fighting words, and not in any game.Defend Truth with Violence
