Indeed...when a bullets start flying around you ,you can feel the adrenaline rushing. in that PoS Battlefield 3 is just point and click .Cheap thrills and gimmicks.Stoped playing it like 9 months ago.

I'm also waiting for standalone DayZ. Already have one version of ArmA that didn't get used enough to justify another one for a mod.

Kinda the same here. I want to play it but I'm not buying ArmA to do so.

meh, played for about 15 mins earlier today and spent about 14 of those minutes running around a map trying to find someone.

Hopped on the TPG server just now and in less than 10 mins I had died 15 times, a majority of which happened not but 5 seconds after respawn by enemies I never saw.

The game seems way too chaotic.

It is chaotic but if you get with the right people you can just roll right through enemies. You can't expect to jump right in and match players who have been around awhile.
