Thread: Pilot bailing

or at least have the curtsy to fly all crazy and roll the transport once or twice to give your passengers a clear understanding of your intent to fly straight into the ground...

Aight, here's how it is. I pilot drop ships and gunships alla time, so bailing out has become something of an art for me.

Yes, it's cool to bail out if it's evident you're about to buy the farm if you stay. No one, and I mean NO ONE, would seriously defend filling up a transport just to bail so you can say, "Ha ha you stupid fucks shouldn't have been in my ride; aren't I a clever little shit who tk'd you without taking the hit for it."

I agree with Benadorf on this one. If your ship is going down, no sense in going down with it if you don't have to. I always, ALWAYS give a verbal bailout warning to my squadmates when I'm piloting and have to bail.

Give the warning, and you're good to go. After all, if you spawn in or take a ride with someone else, it's your ass if they can't fly, and a helluva lot of scrubs CAN"T FLY. Same diff if they decide to bail. Do non-squaddies get the warning? Sometimes. I'll use the commo rose, but more often than not people don't hear or don't care about that.

I honestly get more annoyed with people who take the transport and don't know how to fly it than I do being bailed out on. At least with the second circumstance, I might survive.

hell i fly the transport pretty damn well... sometimes...

but I will often crash and burn it... Like trying to be all nape of the earth stealth like ill catch a tree with that big old bottom, or misjudge my landing and slam into something... luckily I dont fly that often...
