Re: BF2-TTP University
I don't know if this is possible or not. That is a good idea and if possible it could allow more then just 2 or max 3 choppers in the air. Good thinking man.
Is this possible?
PS I'm willing to do a more one on one with like 2 or 3 people to get the very basics down. That way we don't have to start with this is the controlls...

Re: BF2-TTP University
I think Daqing has 4 choppers too (one at each uncap, one at refinery, one at east oilfield)... if people have EF Smoke Screen would be great for this (2 choppers, 2 fighters at each uncap).
This is a great idea, and I'd love to join, but I'm away from home and don't have reliable internet. Mind if I ask a question of the assembled flyboys here?
I use a keyboard only setup to fly choppers (pretty well I think), but I seem to be hitting a wall in my jet flying abilities... do any of the better pilots here use a KB only setup or know anyone who does, or should I just buy a joystick?
Also to set up my LGM bombers, need I slow the throttle on approach or will they have time to lock even at full speed if I line up early enough?
Thanks for any help guys, good luck with the class.

Re: BF2-TTP University
My suggestion is to get a stick. I use a joy stick to fly both choppers and jets but that is my preference. As far as LGMs, I would have to watch you but I think you are just not lining them up soon enough. I hope this thing will be going for more then just a few weeks so hopefully you can get on and join us at some point and time. If not hit one of us up on the server and we will be able to help you more.

Re: BF2-TTP University
It could be that his LGM gunners are incompetent. Yesterday I was flying with a guy and I was giving him plenty of time to lock on. Never hit a thing. Then I took up another guy and he was hitting them just fine. When I was gunning on the LGM I was hitting things with an approach of less than 5-10 seconds. It just depends on the gunner. With a good pilot, the gunner should be able to get plenty of hits.
