Re: Unstacking? WTF?
What settings would possibly make more palatable an app that tosses you from the winning side to the losing side just because you are playing well? The point of the game is to win the match, not just to rack up points for the team you happen to be playing for. Ie: this mod defeats the point of the game.

I don't understand what's so difficult about taking a loss. If anything, the best challenge you can face in this game is turning around a losing team. I care about winning, but I'd like to be on the team going uphill. I'm guilty of liking being on the downhill team, but as people know, I find it boring to stomp a losing team into the ground.
My point is that it shouldn't matter what team you're on. If you get moved for "balance", then go ahead and serve the other team to the best of your ability so that you provide a good game for everyone. If you got moved from the winning team to the losing team, and someone from the losing team got moved to the winning team, don't complain about it because that's not what TPG is about.
We're about TEAMPLAY, not about winning. Winning is a consequence of good teamwork, and that's what we need to be focusing on. And from what I saw, the script likes to move around regulars more often than non-regulars, which means we can get an even spread of teamplayers on each team, and that should be enough to turn any match around (barring the usual exceptions, of which the regs are probably familiar with).
I may be the exception to the rule, but I honestly don't complain (I sometimes volunteer) about moving to the losing team. Sometimes I enjoy the game more by having the odds against me on the losing team. That's just me, but everything else in this post still stands.
Allane.

Generally speaking though, the 'best' players are the best team players. Sure you can rack up points being a killing machine, but the top scorers generally do more than just kill. Switching a couple of good team players from the losing side to the winning side could be enough to kick-start the losing team into being more competitive. Some of the most enjoyable rounds of ANY Battlefield game I've played have come down to the final seconds of a round and end with a single point win by one of the teams.
At any rate, the plugin is very complex and will take some fine-tuning to get it so that it's as unobtrusive as possible. The intent is not to piss anyone off... it's not to assure that all rounds end in single digit ticket wins... the intent is to try and help limit the number of 300-ticket blowouts. Those blowouts drive people away from our server.
