I got Origin to add 2142 to my list of games because my original disk was so scratched it was no longer able to be read. I have BF2 and BC2 in Steam and doesn't see a reason to convert them over to Origin since either way is a diskless install. Sadly, they don't seem to offer BF1942 or BF:Vietnam as digital installs.

On steam or origin? You know 1942 is a free game on Origin, wile. I know its not with RtR or SW though.

The 'Free' version of BF1942 cannot play on servers who have the 'paid' version of BF1942.

Are there still populated 1942 servers?

I just added 1942 to Origin with my old cd key on the jewel case. Also,

The only issue with activating your BF games on Origin is the GUID is not the same so you will be unable to login and play as your previous account. That is what I ran into when I tried BF2142 a few weeks ago. I really don't want to start over on those old BF game.s

I installed 2142 through Origin and played with my old account. Only problem I had with it is it won't let me change to widescreen.
