I honestly liked the variety the Back to Karkand maps provided, but it if means filling seats and paying for the server, then I'm okay with removing the Karkand maps from the rotation.

It is a double edged sword,

With the B2K maps, regs get less bored with the game, same maps and what not. But we don't bring in as many people for as long.

Yet with the flip without them.

Atleast that's what I find.

Do you regs find yourselves burned out after a few weeks of the vanilla maps?

I didn't play BF3 for over a year and started playing again this week about 4 days ago, and I am already burned out on the maps in the rotation. Most of my playing has been on other servers that are running all the maps and DLC.

I wish I knew what the deal was. I don't get why we can't run the maps we want and not have a popular server at the same time. It just doesn't make sense. Kinda pisses me off.

It all had to do with the Quickmatch code. Without B2K we get more random connects.

Well yah but why can't we get connects without the quick match people. I see people do it all the time but for some reason we don't get any connects it just confounds me. I mean are we doing something wrong?

I think a lot more people blindly click 'Quick Match' rather than looking for a server. I don't necessarily think it's anything we're doing right or wrong. We just have come to rely on random connects via 'Quick Match' to fill us up quicker, and provide us new players when others disconnect.
