Squad Communication
So squad communication. We all know its important right? Well lets keep doing please. I have been pretty disappointed in the communication in TS as of late. We have people not talking at all and people just not listening at all at times for reasons I just don't know. Maybe it's just me but I feel like nobody is listening to me. We all need to listen and communicate to one another and use that information we are all giving to each other so that we can maximize our team play in the server. Some of you may know who you are and some of you might not but lets start talking again people. I know I can be pretty annoying at times but I try to give the best information I can at all times. So lets start some chatter get rid of the egos, speak up if your afraid to (don't worry we don't mind), or whatever it is that prevents everyone from listening and communicating and lets put some team play back into TS.

Re: Squad Communication
I agree. Some maps I will only hear "Oh shit" or "you fucking idiots." It is somewhat sad that the communication level has dropped on some squads. However, with the regulars I do not see an issue with it. I can recall on metro earlier this evening, communication fell when the enemy took B and started slaughtering us. On the other side me and Starchbrothers, when we were in a squad at metro, were talking about which side is stronger, where to smoke, etc and even though we lost the match the information was great. The main issue I see is ego in this server though. Team play is amazing when it works but what I seen recently is that a squad leader would give out an order and the squad would fail to fallow it. I guess you gotta get lucky on who you squad up with to get the team play this server prides itself on.

Re: Squad Communication
If you believe that holding A is important while the rest of the team rushes to C say so. Use the attack/defend marker, type it in squad chat, and yell it in TS. If your squad does not follow you can report them. The key is communication. Use all of the tools that you can.
Just make sure if your team is down flags and losing that you help take back some ground.

Re: Squad Communication
When I need your opinion I'll give it to you. Until then STFU and stay out my way. That goes for you too Zoran.
Just to further clarify the above statement. I can only assume this thread has a little to do with me kicking Source from my squad the night before. Lets go over why I did that. I had the tank on D flag on highway. We had the enemy team capped out. At some point A flag begins to blink. Source tells me to drive the tank all the way across the map to stop them. One by time i get tank there it will be too late anyways. Two I look at mini map and I already see people rotating back. I have make a choice. Hope that my teams stops them and now the tank can continue to stop them from getting D until people rotate back. My other is to abandon D and give them basically a free flag. They took A and then I brought tank back over there. It was my choice to make I was driving the tank, and I was squad leader. Source would not stfu about it to point where it was basically mic spam so I kicked him from squad. He comes back and still wants argue about it so I kick him again. I've got no time for that crap at all. Just so you know I don't need a debate any time I make a call I need people who execute and don't do there own thing. Want bring the teamplay back lol then learn how be a follower when it's asked of you.
Zoran you're just a bitch. Keeping making excuses for every time I kill you and your squad members you'll never be anything more than mediocre player. Glad we could all communicate today

Re: Squad Communication
Lol where did Zoran come into this? And btw I asked you to back up to where you could see the APC on B across from your position on D and shoot it but you were to full of yourself to listen to me so we lost our back flags and then we lost the round. Only a mediocre player would be so full of himself to say he doesn't need his teams opinion and in my mind that makes me a better player than you because I know how to take criticism and use the information from my team when playing. And you know what it's true because I think my team won against yours more last night than you won against mine even when you had high numbers you still didn't win and take one guess at to why. Even now you are so full of yourself that you think that this post was about you and nobody else when you couldn't be more wrong. My intention was only to raise awareness of the issue I have noticed over the past few weeks. So please Tenrou do us a favor and take that ego elsewhere it has no place here in TPG where we value team play not the individual Rambo mentality.

Re: Squad Communication
Tenroe, I would really have to side with Source on this. You talk down to people in your squads all the time. Most of us are adults and don't need to be talked down to. Its just a game, get over the egos and shoot the fuck out of people.
