Battlefield 4 system requirements

I can get by with what I have currently but I think and upgrade will help me. I can't believe the minimum specs, that is the Video card and CPU I had when Bf3 came out and have had to upgrade so I can play with no system lag.

Who needs to upgrade?

What do you system gurus think?

Wow for the first time ever I meet the recommended requirements for a new game. Have both a AMD Six-core and GTX 660ti. So glad I built a PC.

Hmmmm....I am not sure that you got to play on Ultra with the recomended specs.
Once again they wil prove that a Frostbyte engine is a GPU hungry.
That being said i been burned by BF3 so i might try out the Beta,and if i don't like it i won't be purchasing the full game.

I just recently updated to GTX780 so i think i will be able to play on ultra with it.

I'll need to upgrade for sure if I decide to buy, but I pretty much needed to upgrade for BF3 anyway and couldn't so :/

I think I will be ok, but will have to run on medium or low settings. I'm planning on upgrading my video card (probably nvidia 760) or something like that), SSD, processor and mobo in that order. It will have to be in stages and after the new year. Damn car payments.

I guarantee you even if you have the exact max spec you still won't get good performance.

My 7870 should be fine. Probably best to wait for 20nm chips anyway. Battlefield games have traditionally been CPU bound in multiplayer, so I hope my 4670K is up to the task.

Supposedly BF4 is optimized more for AMD (video cards) this time around, but that's probably unsubstantiated.
