As long as it is TPG I know I will have fun and thus makes it worth it. That being said if it is vanilla then the same philosophy holds I will still have fun.

Well, every time we've run 2 servers... one has sat empty or close to it. There's just not enough people willing to prime 2 servers to get them going... "Why should I prime the empty server when there's one that's almost full!" We won't pay for servers to be empty, regardless of where the funds come from.

Agreed multiple servers are just asking for trouble since we only currently have the population for 1 server.

33 people voted that they have premium vs 15 that stated they did not have premium.(Link at the bottom) It shows that our users have premium but the sever does not provide the service to use the added bonus. Why should we, TPG, limit the use of gaming, within the sever, for the minority? (I do understand vanilla out ways premium in overall BF community) Most of the people filling our severs are not on the forums and some will join the forums. What about the DLC? Even though it is a smaller market, it still contains a quality to it. If you can drop almost $100 into a single video game I am sure you can drop $50 for a mic.
We will have a vanilla sever, which is great, but if we decide to go with a DLC sever I am sure it will fill up IF we do not wait two or three years down the line to do it. Simply because the amount of people within the TPG sever can play a game on both severs and be happy about it. One more note. If a sever has more than ten people I find it, in my opinion, not a dead sever and I join in.

I totally agree TK. Right now I spend allot of time playing tpg servers but also I have spent hours elsewhere so I can actually play with the $60 expansion pack... 2/3rds of us have premium yet we're still limited to vanilla. Now I understand the shit system that EA made, forcing non premium players to a dark corner but still... I can't even remember the last time I played a good team orientated dlcs map. Kills me.

We will have to see how the system works in BF4. The current system in BF3 and this remains the only reason why we keep it vanilla does not allow random connects when we have extra content on our server. This soon kills the server because we cannot sustain the population needed to keep it full and fun. But like it's been said before what is true for BF3 may not be for BF4. We have time after launch to figure that out though so I am sure the admins will get it where it needs to be.

I'd say it will work similar - so if you want random connects open up to premium or just vanilla. Either way tell your players soon as we all sit there figuring out what to buy. I am not spending $50 again to not play maps...
