We'll likely go 2 servers at launch just to get our name out there. If the initial rush dies down, we'll go back to 1 server, but with BF3... we were full for an extended period each day, every day for a couple months. It also gives us an opportunity to try hardcore and compare/contrast to normal.
In the time I've played the beta, I don't notice the regen much. I seldom utilize the regen for anything more than 15-20% damage... Typically my HPs are so low, that I either die or I end up sticking with my squad and get someone to drop a medic bag. As for 3D spotting... you really can't abuse it that much. Do all of these things make the learning curve a bit easier? Sure. Are they game breakers? Maybe. It will be on our admins to enforce good team play. Regardless what mode we run, we can make it work.

Well I have become very familiar with normal mode this past week. I think I will stick with it after beta personally and I hope we keep it in the long run.

Premature HC vs Normal Mode Feeler (BF4)
I played HC mode the entire time I have played BF3. I love HC mode and I so miss it with the beta. That said there were some things about HC mode that annoyed me. Namely not being able to go to a chase cam view in vehicles, and problems with certain weapon sighting systems in hardcore mode.
As for the weapon balance, that is not an issue in my opinion. Every weapon behaves differently and does different amounts of damage in hardcore mode too. I have to say, after being used to killing players with a solid burst of fire from an assault rifle and then having to empty most of a magazine into them to do the same in normal mode in BF4 - it's ridiculous. That is sooooo gay. Or to shoot someone in the chest with a tank and they survive the shot. It's just stupid.
So what I'd really like to see is hardcore damage modeling but have the game in every other way stay the same as it is now. Kill cams, 3d spotting etc are no biggie. Also, I'd love to see helicopter armor higher.

We'll have 64-player servers, but we should be able to accommodate the other game modes by dynamically changing our map lists based on server population like we did in BF3. It may take a little while to get there, as plugins will need to be updated to support BF4, but it will work at some point in the future.
