Some things to consider.
While I know a lot of you guys know the game real well, there are some newer faces around the game / server that need some helpful tips.
After reviewing my months worth of trying to play this game. In game time being around 40 hours. Keep in mind that some of us know nothing of the strategies and ideas of how or when to push. If you see someone {especially me} playing in a way that needs improvement, please feel free to speak up and speak out. Share what you will, even if you think it doesn't mean much. Those little things y'all know so well and just seem like second nature to y'all are new to some of us. BF2 strats don't translate well to BF3 and that is where I'm at a loss. I constantly forget to look at my little hud map because I just do. Mainly, every time I decide to check it I get killed.
While I know we can't make the gameplay better, we can at least improve the teamplay of ourselves. I would like to thank those who have squaded up with me and played along side of me.
Everything that is shared with me I at least have a chance to try to use/implement/improve upon.

Bravo, Your doing fine. While there are strats out there that will work, my favorite strat is just to cap flags and stick together as a squad. Weather that is working together to keep the LAV/BMP/Tank alive or defending a flags because it is the natural path the enemy will be taking to get to the next flag they want. IT is all about Team Work.

BF3 Weapon Charts: Damage, Accuracy, etc. | Symthic
A squad working 100% doesn't happen all that often. All 4 players in TS and all of them working towards the same goal.
A lot of the strategy that takes place is specific to the map. Knowing what flags are most important. Which you get from just looking at the layout. Be it the center C,D in Op firestorm or knowing B is a meat grinder in Grand bazaar and not worth your time. Are you going close the enemy main, then have a sniper for a radio with a PDW like the p90. Is it the metro bottle neck? Bring something to keep enemy at bay or break up bunches with the n00b tube.
Don't go prone, you will get stabbed.
Don't use a bi pod, you will get stabbed.
AT mines last long after your dead even if you change kits.
Pick up a kit, throwing down a med bag, then recover your previous kit. The bag will last until it is shot or you switch back to a medic and throw down a new bag. Same goes for ammo.
Rockets go away the second your dead, don't think your going to kill a take by taking one for the team.
Claymores don't kill unless they go off 3 feet in front of a target. Don't put them right in a door way. They also wont kill someone with flack cover, I tend to double mine up.
Javs are useless almost everyone uses smoke. Most folks don't uses javs, think about thermal inplace of smoke.
A tank on top of a friendly mine that is set up by a grenade will kill the tank.
A grenade will often kill the gunner in a Humvee.
There are one or two spots in a vodnik and Humvee that will kill the gunner with an RPG.
Flash lights and lasers are a great way to let the enemy know you on you way in.
Camo doesn't really make much of a difference unless you are in a bright tan setting wearing black. Most folks spot movement like a cat.Dispatch the DooM
