Well, that's dumb. Why would that charge you another $50 ...on top of $50? That's just too much.

Because if you pay only $50 then you don't get the multiple DLCs that will come out over the next year or so, and if you pay the second $50 you do. In the long run if you want all of the DLCs the $100 is cheaper.

It was really awesome. We had like 8 people in one squad.... and we were dominating because of it. When we went to the squad screen it said 8/5 people......

but alas after that round I got kicked and the game now refuses to load past the loading screen..... sigh....

The DLCs individually are $15 apiece. There are 4 DLCs planned for BF4... so that's $60 right there... so you're saving $10 by buying Premium... and you get access to the new DLC content 2 weeks ahead of anyone else...
