after playing ARMA3 this new Battlefield feels even more like a COD game but with squad bonuses.
and everything looks blurry with all the fuzzy low rez single color textures everywhere.

seems that BF4 is definitely going to be a good game if you have 4- friends(a full squad) and your able to stick together and communicate. but other than that from what i can tell the game is just a SpawnRushingSpamfest.

maybe hardcore will be differnt if i can find a hardcore server today.

Battlefield is not to be compared with Arma. Different beast entirely. (and doesn't degrade after 2 hours of uptime either)

Have you played some previous BF games before? They all had some sort of spawn spam mechanic in them. Titan mode for example in 2142. Also I prefer being able to get into the action quicker. Not only that but there are plenty of instances where you are needed far from where you are and have to run for a few minutes to get there. Capture points are spaced just so that this happens to me often. It's not like wasteland at all where it so slow paced I can spend the entire night doing this thing where I can literally run around for 30 minutes to an hour with no gun and get killed before I can even get close to the friends I am playing with.

Nononono Arma is a long ways off of Battlfield for sure, and not meant for a proper comparison game play wise.
im just complaining that I would rather see the Battlefield series move towards the Arma end or the spectrum than the COD side.

Battlefield 2 and even when BF3 fist launched maps were big and things moved a little slower and with more purpose. this made things feel like they had meaning when you accomplished or took an objective. i haven't played BF3 as its evolved over its expansions but to play BF4 now it feels far to fast paced. BF4 seems focused more on big explosions and and fancy buildings falling apart than it is on any kind of tactical gameplay.

Its like they want you to constantly be moving and in the action so you don't have time to stop and realize how crappy the game actually looks. aside from the buildings falling apart and some fancy effects it doesn't look that impressive.
staying alive is not a priority as long as your squad or group is still able to move forward.
they don't want you to have time to stop and realize that its just 64 random people in a big COD teamdeathmatch where you can choose where to spawn.
with rocket propelled bullets in every gun complete with smoke trail, and tank shells that aside from making a loud sound feel more like throwing large Dust covered rocks everything is full of over the top flashy effects.

what ive played of BF4 ive enjoyed. but it isnt anything special.
I get frustrate and annoyed with the random enemies spawning in and multiplying 4 feet in front of me.
maybe I'm Just getting too old for these newfangled high budget low quality FPS games.
