You're right about nothing until the game is finally released. VOIP for BC2 worked in beta... and then it didn't... and was never fixed after going live. As I said before... don't go breaking your arm patting yourself on your back... NOTHING is etched in stone.

Its a shame you dont know how it feels to be humble.

People were justified to be skeptical and Im sure most, if not all (present company included) are glad that it has VoIP so that this game can give TPG the shot in the arm it needs.

Happy to hear VoIP is working as intended. Hopeful it continues when hundreds of thousands of people are playing.

+1. TPG is between games and even the staple Counter Strike is near impossible to prime. I. NEED. TEAMPLAY.

When I saw that VOIP worked I got very excited. Will probably buy BF4 this weekend. I am very optimistic.

HUMBLE!? YOU WANT ME TO BE HUMBLE!? Listen I would have been more than humble but I am way past that ability with the way things played out. I think I deserve this and some more respect to go along with it.

Low frame rates with nvidia cards could be drivers. If you are on windows 8, the latest beta should be used. If you aren't, you should roll back to 320.something. Google it. There's definitely a problem with drivers right now.

People were getting 30-40fps with the new beta drivers and when they rolled back they were getting 60+.

This is for reasonably high end cards too btw. Not positive if the 590 still falls in that area or not but possibly.

Which beta drivers to be specific? I'm running 326.8 beta drivers but it looks like they released new beta drivers FOR the BF4 beta. I'll try those before downgrading.

I was playing all this morning on my laptop.

I am using the latest nvidia beta driver (331.40) This is the one for the BF4 beta.

My laptop only has a GT 640M in it (desktop equivalent is a gtx 560), with 2GB GDDR5.
Laptop has a i7-3612QM (4 core + HT @ 2.1ghz)
and 16GB of ram.....

I am guessing here, but I think I was getting 30fps or so avg.
I was near 60fps when there were only 6-12 players in a server.
With a 64 player server that was full I was getting 15fps-ish....

These are my guesses as I did not have an overlay on... but my eye is usually right.

needless to say its a crappy gaming machine and I could play. I couldn't tell if it was my computer skipping or the server lagging most of the time.....
