Runs about 30-40 fps on an full 64 man server with all video settings on low, including resolution (yikes). Looks like the game is eating up 90% of the CPU. Might have to upgrade some parts soon...
Updated. At least its still playable.

Yeah. BF4 is definitely more CPU hungry than BF3. I use on average 3x more CPU in BF4 than I did in BF3.

The other thing people need to keep in mind is that the beta code we're playing is old code, and there are still almost 4 weeks until the release of the game, so nVidia, AMD and others will have a chance to make improvements to their drivers. I'd wager everyone will see an increase in FPS when running the release code.

Re: Your Specs, Settings and FPS

I am gaming on my laptop today.

    Specs:
    Toshiba Qosmio X770
    CPU: I7-2670QM @ 2.20 Ghz
    Memory: 8Gb
OS: Win 7 Pro 64 bit.
    Res: 1600 x 900 @ 60hz
    Video: GTX 560m
    Driver version 327.23

I am getting 35-40FPS and it is playable, in fact it is doing just as good as my work system. My only problem is the laptop get super hot and starts slowing down. I just bought a laptop cooler so lets see what it does now.

This. If you've been searching around the net like I have you'll have noticed that there are thousands of people with decent rigs running the game like shit. I wouldn't upgrade anything just yet.

    GeForce GTX 660 Ti
    AMD FX(tm)-6100 Six-Core
    8 GB memory
    1920 x 1080 resolution

Running everything on Low or Off and getting 30 FPS or lower.

No idea on fps, can run 1920x1080 low smoothly with slow downs around smoke and explosions. Ultra is running OK, but does dip faster. Cpu runs at 96% in the main parts, maxes out with explosions and smoke. Too much will ctd.
