Re: Your Specs, Settings and FPS
Update, on my original post I had just replaced my CPU from a phenon II X 4 970 to the fx 8350. After a burn in over a 24 hour period my fps are lows @ 35-40 and highs @ 70-80 with an average around 50-60.
Much better.

Gigabyte 990XA UD3 rev 3 (AMD 990X + SB950 Chipset)
FX-8120 4.2GHz
8Gb Kinston hyperx 1680MHz
Crossfire HD 7770 1Gb sapphire vapor-x GHz OC editions (core 1100MHz, mem 1300MHz) benchmark around the same as a stock HD 7950
60Gb OCZ Vertex2 (Os), 500Gb storage drive
Windows 8 pro x64
I use these commands: GameTime.MaxVariableFps 59.94, RenderDevice.ForceRenderAheadLimit 1, RenderDevice.TripleBufferingEnable 0, in a User.cfg file placed in the Bf4 installation folder.
Day one I was struggling to get 20 fps, now I'm getting constant 50-60 fps (I cap fps at 59 fps as my tv is 60Hz), 1080p, textures on high, everything else on medium, no AA and no ambient occlusion. I gonna try upping the graphics settings a bit, although I think my 1Gb vram is holding me back. I was thinking of upgrading gpu straight away for Bf4 but I think I'm going to hold out until December and see what AMD Mantle offers.Last edited by Voodoo_S3; 10-06-13 at 07:17 AM.

Re: Your Specs, Settings and FPS
3 rds played. I could see myself enjoying this more than BF3. However even on low settings it's basically unplayable for me due to stutter. So it'll be a while (a long while probably) before I'll buy and play since I don't the money for a complete rebuild.
Have fun folks.gehn liked this post
