Me thinks I will upgrade from my i5 750 to an i7 4770k . Honestly my pc has been really Champ and lasted 4 years - time to make a media pc with the old parts... GTA V and titanfall are whistling in the background

Al, I may be upgrading to ivy soon. Would it help things if I gave you my 2600k and mobo? I'm already using an ivy board.

    Have fun folks.
You know this is Beta right. This is not the current build of BF4. BF3 Beta was pretty buggy, laggy, and stuttering for me also. You might want to wait for full release and hope that there was some optimization, which there probably will be. I met every "recommended" requirement for the Specs and the game still runs like shit. And on top of that I ran BF3 on Ultra. This leads me to believe it's not in my control atm.

Yeah. Surely there will be some optimizations between the beta code and release. And video drivers will be better optimized as well.

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.

    Yes I recall quite well.

There probably will be, you're correct. But it would require a purchase on my part to test against my hardware.

I don't meet the specs for BF4 and was not able to run BF3 on anything close to ultra.

I'm a BIY PC guy as are many here. So I'm pretty sure how far off I am from being able to run this. I simply don't have the disposable cash for a gaming rig update in my immediate future.

@White, I sincerely appreciate the offer. I would not feel comfortable accepting that without paying you for them though and it's not something I can do right now.

I downloaded an update today which has really improved things. It still has some hiccups but is now playable.
