With the amount of video driver updates, you need to run some sort of driver sweeper to clean out the old and current drivers before installing new ones. I would crash at the end of a round or when I died near and explosion. Cleaned the old drivers and updated and no crashes since.

I seem to be fortunate in that the only time my game crashes is during map transition, usually to Zavod 311. I DO get game crashes that occur during a match once every two days or so. It's annoying, but I sometimes take advantage of the crash to cool off and relax, especially if it happened near the end of the round, as re-joining erases all the progress you made earlier that round.

Honestly, I think they have done OK. Yes, there have been some glaring ones. Like VoIP in BC2 and BF3. But for the most part, I haven't had any issues with the playability of the game and have enjoyed them. Well worth the $50-$60 that they cost. I know most were looking for a sequel to BF2 and were disappointed. When the aforementioned titles were released, consoles had caught on as the main gaming platforms and they were made as such. They made much more money with the consoles in mind.
From a business standpoint, BF2 didn't work out so well for them. Don't get me wrong, I loved the game, but who wants a product to last for 5+ years in the gaming industry? That's not how it works anymore. Most people here are older and grew up with titles like that, that would last for years. Console kids on the other hand want that shiny new thing. For business, that is great. For us older generation that grew up playing titles for 3+ years on end, it is going the way of the do-do. PC gaming at the time was pretty much dead. No major releases that were strictly PC (Like BF2 was). None since then that I know of. Everything is now ported from one thing to the other. Lots more money in it.

My biggest complaint so far is that I seem to get stuck on non-existent shit all the time. Last night I was walking down an open hall, and when I get to the doorway I can't go forward, then I can't go backwards either. So I am stuck spinning in circles until Nih takes pity on me and kills me. This seems to happen often where I run into something that isn't really there. Other than that, and not knowing the maps yet, I think the game is great. Yes, there are other things that could be improved, but I could say that about any game.
