I'd wager the assignments will be tied to future DLC. Apparently DICE is preparing for the China Rising launch in a couple weeks.

Odd seeing how 2nd assault comes the 22nd of this month and China is next month.

All the patch notes for server & client make reference to China Rising... nothing for Second Assault.

Well, looks like I will be downloading all night.

As I understand it Second Assault comes out for some console at the advanced date, I think China Rising is still the first expansion for PC.

And I think it's only the next gen console systems (PS4 & XBox One).

Yeah I looked it up, its for Xbox One only on Nov 22nd (the day the console releases), can't find a release date for it on PC. And China Rising comes out Dec 3rd.

Edit: December 3rd may be the Premium release date.

Dec 3 is the premium release date. Dec 17 is the release date for everyone else on PC.

Is TPG still only going to have the normal maps in rotation? I know thats what we usually do.... did we decide differently?

We'll have to see. We might give China Rising a shot (like we did with Back to Karkand) since those who pre-ordered got it for free, and we have a high population of premium folks.
