I thought I had it fixed... But no. I did crash 2 times. Second time I just gave up.

I feel your pain, I repaired, updated everything, turned av on and off. So I decided to run game in 64 bit and it seemed to work YEAH I'm playing again and just about then the server crashed so I said the hell with it and called it a night still don't know if I can play a full round or more.

This sucks! I haven't had performance issues but I have had hit detection get way worse.

I think I fixed it so far least. I had to run in 64 bit, only thing unusual is when I quit the game I get a notice that BF4 has stopped running.

As a strong BF4 community and considering how broken this game is, I suggest we could improvise our own bug tracking list so we can quickly get some answer when dealing with issues. Here is a draft of what I have in mind:

    Troubleshooting, Tips & Tricks-bugtrack2-jpg

Here is the shared excel file on GDrive: (edit it on excel please, not on google sheet, it sucks)

    TPG Bug Tracking Effort

I'm open to sugestions and feel free to add your own info and add new column.

Let me know if it sounds like a good idea or if maybe it is just over-engineered.

I have a fairly new usb headset, afterglow brand. It works great in TS and all other games but the mic will not work in BF4. It seems to have been an issue for at least some people as there are a few write ups and videos about it but they are out dated and use the battlelog voip setting which is no longer there. I did the part I could do which was to reinstall directx but it did nothing. Any suggestions?

It's ironic that they claim Battlefield 4 is a AAA game, yet have only the most basic audio customization options possible, while $10 indie games have vastly better support. Anyway, whenever you're on I can help you troubleshoot.
