He was kicking my ass about an hour ago so I think he's good lol. Also I don't know what I did but my mic is working now.

I have an Afterglow USB headset too. Mine does not work if I plug it in after I start the game. I guess BF4 check for an audio input as it starts and doesn't ever try again to see if an audio input were to be connected.

Well I didn't crash tonight after using the tip from the video. I kept getting "BF4 has stopped working" errors.

Boo! I crashed tonight. It only started happening frequently when the 2nd patch was released. Ah well maybe DICE will fix it! /sarc

I tried running the game in 32 bit again after the patch and crashed repeatedly then switched back to 64 bit and haven't crashed since. I don't have clue why all I know is it works for me.

Well my latest prob is loosing connection to server error, anyone else or is that just on my end with isp?

I haven't had any issues. Have you tried doing a tracert and seeing if your routing is getting hung up somewhere?

no, also when origin opens it says it's running in compatibility which none these things happened until the last patch or the china rising update. How do I get out of compatibility mode or should I?
