Re: Gentleman's rule ends. Today.
I apologize about my over authoritative tone everyone it was uncalled for, you are accurate.
This is all I really want:
Just because someone wants to do something another way doesn't mean we should be aggressive toward them it just makes us look like dicks who want it their way.
That drives people away from the server. Not whether or not people are in vehicles.

Last I checked there's armor or anti-armor on both sides if a tank or whatever is raping you counter it with whatever means you have at your disposal whether that be weaponry or armor.

Re: Gentleman's rule ends. Today.
I completely agree with this and this is my biggest problem with the GA. We call it a GA but as soon as some random person joins, again these are the people we are trying to get to join our group of team players if they are team players, decides the GA is a stupid rule and not follow it, a lot of the regs stop acting like gentleman. You shouldn't act like hot shots for having the GA then throw a tantrum when it isn't followed. If it isn't followed say, "Very well good sir! I shall take your tank and make it a birthday cake to light candles on!"

Re: Gentleman's rule ends. Today.
I believe its the players on that decide the GA. I joined the other day oblivious to a current GA and instantly managed to break it... War commented but then retaliated quickly. No fuss no muss. I gauged the situation, decided it wasn't terribly op and we all primed laughing and skipping whilst holding hands. Use good judgement if armor is needed or not. Even the defenders don't like sitting on 1 point,....

Re: Gentleman's rule ends. Today.
Just to make things clear:
Armor does not include jeeps, scout helicopters, transport helicopters, quads, rhib boats and pwc
Armor does include attack helicopters, apc's, tanks, fast attack boats, amtrack, infantry fighting vehicles, jets, anti-air
Sound about right?
Not sure about missile truck

You and many others obviously took his post the most negative way possible. And as usual, instead of actually figuring out if you read his tone correctly, people assume and treat him like an asshole. The way you and others read a post and "tone" may not be the same way I or others read that same post. You made it seem that the way you read the post was the way everyone read it Wile and I don't think that is fair. (My two cents)
I completely agree with you Frag and I think you bring up a valid point. Wile is obviously right that of course just because you posted this topic not everyone is going to do what you say, but that doesn't make your stance any less true. Armor is not over powered in BF4. Instead of taking seconds to type out how frustrated you are about someone in armor with only a 15 person population, why don't you take that time to change classes and whip out some Slams or some other kind of explosive.
If a team of 10 or less players is stupid enough to continue to ignore armor and not change classes to be able to destroy the armor, then I don't have pity for them.Last edited by Mr_Blonde_OPS; 12-12-13 at 11:20 PM.

Re: Gentleman's rule ends. Today.
They won't ignore the armor. They will LEAVE. And shortly after, the person in the armor, no longer having anyone to abuse, will also LEAVE. Completely counter-productive to the goal of priming the server.
It is a dick move and I have no shame calling anyone out on it.Last edited by ElFuriosoGato; 12-12-13 at 11:45 PM.
