Thread: So i got called out for not using my mic??

You can kick someone from your squad for whatever reason you want... you may or may not be a dick (or whatever the female version of that is that won't get me slapped) for doing so, but it's not against the rules.

It's also not against the rules to not throw meds or ammo, but obviously you should if you have them.

If you're not contributing to the team and working with your squad, I think this is what gets you kicked.

However, I do have an interesting question. If your squad leader asks/requests/orders you to play a certain class and have medic packs to drop for squad/team, can you be kicked for not following those orders? I know that you can if you're not following objective orders and working with the squad but how specific are we talking about?

Obviously if you have issues with your sl, let them know. If you still disagree, move to a different squad.

Good question... and I honestly don't know what the consensus is on that. I've personally never tried to force someone to play a certain kit.

There is nothing wrong with kicking someone that doesn't do what you, as the SL, request. They're not talking, they're not where they should be, they're not spawning green... Kick them.. It's easy. Kick them and they will understand that something went wrong, and maybe, just maybe, next time; they will listen. It's all part of the teamplayer experience. Sometimes you need a swift kick in the ass to realize you're being a douche.

In PR and BF2 it has been the rule that you follow orders; Commander to SL, SL to squadmates. I have played for SL that insisted on certain kits and this is what they got. Some SL don't, others ask. One can pick and choose their SL.

This. If you don't like what the current SL asks for then find a new squad, or lead your own.

Oddly enough, today "[NoM]visuvisu" or something like that, was on my squad and told me to spawn medic. This was shortly after he told the admin I wasn't following order for reasons beyond my knowledge. I was then kicked from squad and he then made a remark to the effect of me leaving the squad to go "lonewolf", when Mafia my clanmate was in my new squad.

What really pissed me off, was later on that map [NoM]visuvisu tk'd me on purpose. I can forgive accidents, but this was blatant as fuck. I turned after shooting a target, and here he came on an ATV and ran over me. Usually you "accidentally" run ppl over when they run in front of you. But striking a stagnant target is obviously premeditated. It was uncalled for and he should answer for his infraction.

That would be visuvius... I'd be real surprised if it was intentional, but who knows.
