Re: Question about being targeted by enemy commander
Really because I've had rounds where I was hvt for almost the whole round. They kept applying it every chance they get. Granted it was rounds where I'd go 40+ kills to like 5 or less deaths. The fact is it's just an excuse to help people who suck at game a chance to kill someone.

Re: Question about being targeted by enemy commander
No, it's a practical command and control tactic that has historical roots. The Red Baron was targeted. So were various enemy snipers in WWII and Vietnam. Yes, this is on a different scale tho. However, would you have preferred Dice/EA base it on historical k/d stats? lol.

It can be annoying...I do see the value of it from a commanders perspective, and also agree that it has historical reference. However, I do not understand why anyone would waste that on me...I got targeted like 3 times the other night...was odd.

Re: Question about being targeted by enemy commander
A lot of this ... also,
A Commander has to spend accrued "assets" to designate a HVT. Sometimes more than one HVT is an option. As a Commander, I'll always light 'em up because it gives extra points to the person that takes out the HVT. As a SL, I've sought out HVTs, many snipers camping the tops of buildings and such.
As a player, I couldn't care less if the enemy Commander designated someone an HVT (though we are asked to protect said person).Last edited by Amador +JP2+; 12-23-13 at 09:11 PM.
